### IDE Configuration
Some additional settings are required in the IDE after setting up the plugin.
<control>Gradle JVM</control> must be set to Java 11 in <ui-path>Settings | Build, Execution, Deployment | Build Tools | Gradle</ui-path>.
When targeting 2022.3+, Java 17 is required instead (see [details](build_number_ranges.md#platformVersions)).
In 2023.3, the setting <control>Download sources for dependencies</control> must be checked in <ui-path>Settings | Build, Execution, Deployment | Build Tools | Gradle</ui-path> to attach IntelliJ Platform sources in the IDE when enabled via [](#intellij-extension-downloadsources) .
